2019 Pittsburgh Boat Show

Are you sitting in the house waiting for spring!  Get out and investigate your next new smooth ride that will take you cruising along the clean rivers around Pittsburgh.  The 2019 Pittsburgh Boat show will be running two weekends starting January 11 through 13 and January 18 through 20.  ALCOSAN will have a table displaying information on CSO Sewer Advisories and what the orange flags mean that are posted along the river.  Review the Pittsburgh Boat Show’s website below for each day’s opening time.

32nd Annual Mascot Skate Schenley Park Ice Rink

1:30 pm

Local Pittsburgh mascots will be taking to the ice in Schenley Park from 1:30 until 3:30 p.m.  Join the fun and skate along with your favorite mascot.  Don’t skate, you can still come out and meet your favorite  mascot off the rink for a photo.  Lots of dancing and fun for the whole family in the park with the beautiful view of the city.

Annual Mascot Tubing Race – SnowFest at Boyce Park

Annual SnowFest event is packed with two days of indoor and outdoor activities. Outside, the DJ will be spinning some tunes to entertain you as you tube down the slopes.   If you like face painting, crafts and games, you can stay inside the lodge where it is warm and have some hot chocolate.  Join the spectators  as they cheer the competitors during the Junior Olympic race as they display their skiing skills speeding  through to the finish line.

Competition does not stop, the DJ will again will be sending tunes out the amps as local mascot begin to limber up for the race with dancing and stretching.  Mascot race begins at 4:30 p.m.  ALCOSAN’s mascot, Frankie the Fish, is back to resume a winning record.
